Dirollo Smoked is a yellow cheese with a characteristic smoked flavor. It is also low in fat -only 14%- and has a unique taste. It is the only low-fat smoked cheese on the market.
Cream is skimmed from the cow’s milk in order to produce this cheese; removing the fat from the milk results in a cheese product with a high content in protein but low in fat.
This cheese is appropriate for vegetarians as it does not contain animal rennet, the ingredient that is added to milk during the cheese-making process.
Dirollo Smoked is naturally smoked with smoke from beech-wood; it undergoes no other processing which means that the outside layer of the cheese is perfectly edible.
